in an increasingly digital world where work trumps all and social time is spent on a handheld screen, humans are more disconnected than ever. We’re busy, we work too much, we’re burnt out and overstimulated.
But when we do have downtime — a lot of us actually want to

do fun stuff with great people

Meet Amanda

I started traveling in 2012. Like full-time. Like backpacking and been to 60+ countries kind of traveling.

Somewhere along the way I…

  • started a solo female traveling FB group that now has half a million followers
  • Began curating meetup tours around the world (in 12 countries and counting)
  • Hosted 500+ curated retreats in 19 different countries for small groups of women who arrived as strangers and left as lifelong friends


And while SoFe Travel is still a lifelong project – after a while, that full-time travel can wear you down.

So I decided to find a home base – and moved to San Diego as a 30-something year old mostly digital nomad now wanting to make a local community

And I realized it was harder than I thought.

I tried meetup groups, pickleball and pottery classes – and while pleasant – I wasn’t finding the level of depth and connection and fun I was used to.

You see, I’ve spent the last eight years creating meaningful experiences for quality humans who want more out of life. 

I’ve witnessed dozens of people bond over the simplest moments – and I’ve developed a gnack for curating spaces and places that spark that untouchable magic that’ll create lifelong friendship and community.

And now I’m bringing it to San Diego.
