Warm desert days fade into balmy starlit nights, where fireside chats turn into longtime friendships.
Desert activities + luxe amenities
Start the day with a mid-morning wake up delivery of coffee (just the way you like it) + a delish breakfast sandwich.
Hike, bike, and swim the afternoon away and we’ll even wander through a ghost town if you’re feeling brave.
When hunger strikes, unwind with a slightly boozy picnic lunch among the Joshua Trees and later bike ride through town past boutiques + crystal shops.
As the sun settles into a cotton candy sky, we’ll gather around a campfire and grill a beautiful dinner together over the fire with your choice of protein, plenty of veggies + sides, and perfectly charred garlic bread.
As the stars fill the sky, we’ll roast marshmallows and laugh over camp games + late night chats.
Once the moon takes its place in the sky, our astronomer will arrive with telescopes for a private evening of stargazing.
The weekend plans
All inclusive, kinda bougie, and totally laid back.
Day 1
Roll into Joshua Tree and check in at 4 PM, where your weekend host will be ready to greet you with a warm welcome.
We’ll kick things off with a catered welcome dinner, the perfect chance to meet your fellow travelers and our founder, Amanda. Drinks, games, and non-cringy icebreakers (promise!) will keep the energy high as we settle into the weekend.
Then, it’s all about campfire vibes—think gooey s’mores and swapping stories under a sky full of stars.
When you’re ready to crash, your own private luxury Airstream at Autocamp will be waiting—a dreamy little retreat to rest up for the adventures ahead.
Day 2
Morning:
Start your day with a freshly brewed coffee (made just the way you like it) and a delicious breakfast sandwich delivered right to your Airstream. This morning we’ll head out to explore the area together. There is no shortage of hiking trails, so whether you like a leisurely stroll or a quicker pace, we’ll start together and take the morning to explore.
Afternoon:
Return to camp to indulge in a slightly boozy picnic lunch, with non-alcoholic options always available. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish—relax with a good book, explore another scenic trail, cycle into town to browse boutique shops and crystal stores, or visit an open-air art museum. For those interested, an astrologer will be on hand for optional personalized readings.
Evening:
As the sun sets, we’ll come together to prepare a mouthwatering BBQ dinner cooked over an open flame. Choose your favorite protein, paired with hearty mac & cheese, baked beans, asparagus, and perfectly charred cornbread.
After dinner, gather around for fireside chats, sweet desserts, and stargazing under the magical desert sky—keep an eye out for shooting stars!
Day 3
Start your day your way—wake early to witness a breathtaking sunrise or enjoy a leisurely morning with a bit of extra rest.
Join us in the clubhouse for breakfast together. While check-out is at 10 a.m., the adventure doesn’t have to end—explore one of the many nearby trails if you’re not quite ready to head home.
Most importantly, stay connected with the incredible community you’ve built during your time here, as these new friendships are just the beginning of many shared adventures to come.

Hike amongst terrestial flora and fauna in Joshua Tree National Park, sample the latest wellness elixirs, treasure-hunt in boutiques and crystal shops, or soak in the closest (and coolest) water you can find.

Everything listed in The Weekend Plans is included, and here is a breakdown: all meals (2 breakfasts, 2 dinners, 1 lunch, lots of snacks), 2 nights at Auto Camp Joshua Tree in a private Airstream, bicycle rental. And of course, it is all curated and hosted by a Kindred team member who is there with you all weekend.
You will make your way to Joshua Tree and meet your Kindred host at 4pm on Friday, January 24, 2025. Most members prefer to drive themselves, but we would be happy to help you arrange a carpool with another member. We will also carpool to Joshua Tree and the ghost town from AutoCamp.
Absolutely! Each Airstream features a full or queen-size bed and a futon that converts into an additional bed. If you're sharing an Airstream, everyone in your group needs to book together, so make sure to arrange how you’ll split the cost among yourselves. Because you are sharing an Airstream, each person's spot is discounted, which you will see on the booking page.
Your balance is due in full when you book your spot. Refunds are not possible.
